I am the leader of the Choir from Borgarfjörður, and we will visit Blaine on June 13, 2007. Our choir is comprised of church choirs from Reykholt, Hvanneyri and Borgarnes.

The Choirs from Hvanneyri and Reykholt have being singing together for the last 20-25 years while the choir from Borgarnes has been singing with the other choirs since October 2006. Our combined choir is 44 singers. The entire group visiting North America is 68 persons.

Our Choir director is Mr Bjarni Guðráðsson a farmer at Nes in Reykhotsdalur in Borgarfjörður. He is the organist at Reykholtskirkja (church).

At the piano is Mr. Viðar Guðmundsson, a farmer at Kaðalsstaðir in Stafholtstungum,
Borgarfjörður. He is the organist at Stafholtskirkja.

The singers in our group are teachers, farmers, clerks and many other occupations.

We are very much looking forward to meeting the people of Blaine.
