| Elias Breidford was a professional
photographer located in the Blaine, Washington area from the 1920s until
the 1960s. When he purchased the stock and inventory of the previous
photographer's business, he was carrying on a photographic tradition in
Blaine: attaining the stock of negatives and photos from the previous
photographer's collection. The Elias Breidford Photo collection contains
negatives and photographs from several earlier Blaine area
photographers. The collection spans from the early 1900s through
the 1980s. Here are a few of the photos spanning that time period, drawn primarily from photos of the Chris Freeman family: |

This picture was taken about 1914 in
Blaine by an earlier photographer. The Chris Freeman family is standing
in front of their home. Chris is holding daughter Nina, while
